All reports involving potential child safety concerns are treated as the highest priority and reviewed by the Pause moderation team. When CSAE content is identified:
Pause complies with all applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate. When we identify apparent CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline in the United States, as required under U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. ยง 2258A), and to equivalent authorities in other jurisdictions as applicable. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating child safety matters.
For child safety concerns, law enforcement inquiries, or questions about these standards, contact us at support@justhitpause.app. We aim to respond to urgent child safety reports within 24 hours.
Our moderation practices are reviewed and updated regularly to address emerging risks. We consult publicly available guidance from NCMEC, the Tech Coalition, and similar organizations to keep our standards current.
