Pause. Spoiler-free conversations about movies and TV.
You can delete specific pieces of your data in Pause at any time without
having to delete your entire account. This page explains what you can
delete, how to do it, and what is retained.

Option 1: Delete data in the app
Delete a comment
Open the Pause app and navigate to the comment.
Tap and hold (or tap the menu) on your comment.
Choose Delete and confirm.
Delete a direct message conversation
Open the Messages tab.
Swipe left on the conversation (or open it and tap the menu).
Choose Delete conversation and confirm. All messages
in that conversation are deleted for your account.
Remove a liked show or movie
Go to your Profile → Liked.
Tap the heart again on any item to remove it from your liked list.
Unfollow a user
Open the user's profile.
Tap Following to unfollow them. This removes the
follow relationship from your data.
Remove a profile photo or update your profile
Go to Profile → Edit Profile.
Tap the photo to change or remove it. You can also clear your display
name or bio from the same screen.
Remove a watch status
Go to the show or movie page.
Tap your watch status and choose Remove.
Option 2: Request data deletion by email
If you would like us to delete specific data for you (for example, all of
your comments on a particular show, or all direct messages older than a
certain date), email us from the address associated with your account:
